QEM secures strategic QA/QC databooks contract with Cadent Gas
Published: 15 October 2025
We have been awarded a contract by Cadent Gas to support its asset and pipelines team as they deliver a series of major infrastructure projects across a number of operational gas sites. These projects include full asset rebuilds, partial upgrades, and extensive component replacements.
Under the engineering technical services agreement, we will provide specialist expertise in quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC) as well as data and records management. Our role will be critical in ensuring all project documentation complies with Cadent’s rigorous policies, specifications, and industry standards, and is ready for external audit scrutiny.

The scope of work involves reviewing and structuring technical files from Cadent’s shared platforms mains work contractors to ensure compliance throughout, optimising project transparency. This partnership underlines Cadent’s commitment to quality and integrity throughout their infrastructure delivery and management programmes.
This collaboration will support Cadent’s operational and asset resilience, as well as contributing to the long-term safety and reliability of the UK’s gas network.
