Barhale Pipe Inspection (1431) Welding, Coating and Painting

Barhale

Stourport on Severn

Pipe Conditional Assessment and Ovality Checks Professional Services.

QEM Solutions were asked to assist Barhale with the inspection and checking of approximately 1900 pipes due to be delivered to Cardiff Docks and subsequently moved to a pipe-dump at Stourport on Severn for the BIrmingham Resilliance Project.

QEM Worked closely with teh Project team prior to mobilisaiton to identify the construction risks and to identify possible ways to improve efficiency of jointing during cosntruction.

  • Internal Lining Visual Inspection.
  • External Coating Visual Inspection.
  • Spigot and Socket Visual inspection for mechanical damage.
  • Ovality review to assist with best match construction.
