QEM Solutions have been assisting Cadent Gas with the implementation of our Mineral Blue and isCompliant software. By developing a bespoke connection between the two suites, QEM were able to establish a streamlined process for gathering project milestone achievements. Balancing these achievements with audit and inspection results have enabled Cadent to to get a true measure of project success.

Sometimes we manage a project from the very start and continue to be involved until the end reports. Other times we are brought in to provide specialist services in specific areas. Each brings different challenges. Each has different outcomes.

NGN - Valve Supplier Validation (1296) Inspections & Audits

Northern Gas Networks

QEM Solutions were asked by Northern Gas Networks to provide auditing and inspection services on 2 valve suppliers on behalf of NGN Asset and Risk.

We were responsible for:

  • Contacting the two valve suppliers proposed by NGN 
  • Prepare background research on both suppliers
  • Prepare for the audit/review/meeting
  • Conduct a site visit for a technical audit at their UK offices
  • Prepare a site visit report
  • Research on alternative valve suppliers

The relevant inspections were carried out and a report issued providing full objective evidence for all audit statements.
