QEM Solutions are assisting NGN with Design Co-ordination activities, to ensure successful project initiation and design management of all current NGN projects.
Main responsibilities include:
Providing professional advice and support to the project team as and when required.53.793

Reviewing designs prior to G17 appraisal.

Expediting engineering queries.

Providing technical advice to the Project Services Team as required

Assisting with the preparation of main works tender documentation concerning engineering content

Reviewing and auditing tender returns to ensure their understanding of the work content and provide technical input into any tender queries

Attending pre-tender meeting to ensure the main works tenderers understanding of the design requirements of the project

Carrying out reviews and audits of conceptual and detail designs to ensure they comply with all current standards and specifications of the Employer.

Auditing design and design processes to ensure compliance with current NGN and IGE specifications/standards and all relevant legislation.

Attending design meetings as required to ensure design processes are conducted and queries resolved

Reporting on design team performance with respect to engineering design and reporting non conformances

Assisting the completion of Operational Acceptance requirements prior to commissioning.

Reviewing as-built drawings to ensure design requirements have been fully implemented

Reviewing design data packages for inclusion in as built data manuals.
