QEM Solutions provided NACAP with a Quality Manager to assist with the quality control and assurance on a 750m long parallel pipeline of 20” and 3” diameters.
Whilst assisting with the completion of the project, the QEM Quality Manager carried out the following duties;

Development and maintenance of QITP’s.

Identification of Traceability and QA/QC Requirements to be issued with the ITT.

Co-ordinating the approval of welding and NDT procedures and other process procedures

Identification and creation of Method Statements

Management of QC activities and ensuring that appropriate records are maintained and retrieved during construction activities

Auditing the compilation of vendor material certification;
-
Validation of relevant construction records where necessary
-
Monitoring that the NACAP Quality Management System has been implemented and is working effectively;

Carrying out periodic QA meetings with the main works contractor.

Development of Commissioning Packs

Reviewing Operational Acceptance requirements prior to gassing-up.
QEM Solutions provided a suitably qualified and competent Manager who had the ability to assist with moving the construction process forward during a difficult period of construction in accordance with the design specification, commissioning pack requirements and the CDM Regulations 2007.
