Stuart was actually working for one of our clients before he joined the company at the beginning of 2010. He saw QEM from the outside first and thought we were a bright bunch of professionals that weren't interested in the politics and just got on with the job. So when his time came to an end with his previous employer he was more than happy to join the QEM team, and so far, so good!
Stu has had wide experience of civil engineering projects including roads, power stations, water treatment works, water pipelines, sewer systems, pumping stations, rail bridge refurbishment, construction, and demolition.
He is now focusing on Engineering & Project Management, and in 2009 was awarded the Institute of Gas Engineers & Managers (IGEM) Engineer of the Year.
At the weekends he enjoys the quieter life, and loves taking his family and golden labrador walking in Dartmoor. Rather like Rob G, Stu is proud of where he comes from; a loyal Cornishman who currently resides in Devon - oops!
